The Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS) maintains an information centre at the Gorleben site where you can get information on the disposal of radioactive waste. It has been frequented by numerous visitors, organisations and school classes. We also offer training seminars for teachers. The range of information available at the information centre is frequently revised and adjusted to the changing needs of the visitors. BfS is responsible for all safety and organisational matters. For liability reasons, we have to request that all visitors submit their names in advance. BfS likes to point out that you can only participate in a subsurface visit if you are in good health and reserves the right to restrict participation to those persons who have made a prior appointment.
